Michelle Ashley Bowen's Obituary
Miss Michelle Ashley Bowen, age 22, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Sunday morning, July 10, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Graveside funeral services to celebrate the life of Michelle Ashley Bowen will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 3619 Morgan Mill Road (Hwy 200 N), Monroe, NC, 28110, officiated by Elder Newell Helms and Pastor Tommy Moser.
Michelle was born on February 16, 1994, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a daughter of Norman Dale Bowen and Rhonda Moser Bowen of Monroe.
Michelle had just graduated from UNC-Charlotte, cum laude, in May 2016; and recently finished an internship with the Union County Department of Social Services.
Survivors include her parents, Norman and Rhonda Moser Bowen of Monroe; a brother, Dexter Bowen of Monroe; a sister, Jessica Deanna Bowen of Monroe; and her school mate and fiance Joshua Laton of Asheboro, North Carolina. Michelle is also survived by numerous family members of the Bowen, Moser and Gardner families.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street,Monroe, NC, 28112, prior to the graveside funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
