Michael Stivaletti's Obituary
Michael Stivaletti, 80, of Monroe, passed away on June 14, 2025, at Atrium Health Union. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Father Benjamin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery.
Born on September 5, 1944, in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Hugo Alfred Stivaletti and Mildred Pisacano Stivaletti. Michael worked for many years as a bookbinder with EZ Binding in New Jersey. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Michael will be remembered by his family as loving, considerate, and deeply devoted to those he loved. He was a man of integrity who worked tirelessly to provide for his family and care for his beloved wife. A true handyman, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fixing things, and taking care of everything around the house.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Noreen Materaso Stivaletti; his children, Lisa Stivaletti of Monroe and Michael Stivaletti II and wife Merridith of Indian Trail; and his cherished grandchildren, Tiffany Betar of Monroe, Rachel Stivaletti of New York, and Antonia Stivaletti of Indian Trail.
