Michael Anthony Fischer's Obituary
Michael Anthony Fischer, 58, of Albemarle, NC passed away
Wednesday December 26, 2018 in CHS-Stanly. A memorial service will be held
Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:30 PM at St. Martin?s Lutheran Church, 16592
St. Martin Road, Albemarle, NC with visitation after the service. Pastor Fred
Guy will officiate.
Michael was born January 15, 1960 in Erie County, NY and was
the son of Ethel Rose Mandelaro Fischer (of FL) and the late Arthur John
Fischer.
Michael is survived by his wife Jenell L. Davis Fischer of
the home. His daughter, Jennifer Hendrix of LA, her husband Shane and seven
grandchildren. His ?other? (step) children: Jason Davis, wife Sarah and three
grandchildren; Carrie Pressler, husband Travis and one grandson; Brian Davis,
wife Roberta and five grandchildren; Michael Davis and wife Michelle and four
grandchildren. His sisters, Noreen Lester and husband Randy of FL; Amy Albers
and her husband Jeff of GA.; his brother, Art Fischer and wife Chris of GA. and
his nieces and nephews of GA.
Michael was a commercial electrician most of his life. On
holidays, he enjoyed baking cookies for the grandkids for some years. His
passion for black powder shooting was known in both SASS and NCOWS. He was also
a beekeeper.
The family would like to thank Dr. Raghava Induru and the
wonderful team at Atrium Stanly along with Dr. Shelileah Newman in the
Radiation Oncology and her staff for the care they provided for Michael.
