Michael James Dimac's Obituary
Michael James Dimac, 69, of Durham, NC passed away Wednesday September 13, 2017 in his home. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 3 PM Friday, September 22, at Palestine Cemetery.
Born July 14, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of the late Vlada Dimac and Irene Settlemeyer Dimac. Michael was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed playing golf, theatrical performances, and reading and studying history.
Mr. Dimac is survived by his wife Cheryl Lynn Drye Dimac of Durham; brother Stan Dimac of Durham (Stephanie); niece Kristin Dimac; nephew Brad Dimac, and his beloved Corgi, Rhys. He is preceded in death by his daughters Lara Marlena Dimac and Katherine Nicole Dimac.
