Merium Lowder Poplin's Obituary
Merium Lowder Poplin, 74, of Albemarle, died Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast.
Mrs. Lowder was born September 27, 1941, in Stanly County to the late Horace and Gladys Carriker Lowder.
She is preceded in death by her husband James F. Poplin.
She is survived by her sons James Jeffery Poplin and wife Sherry of Wadesboro, and Anthony (Tony) Scott Poplin and wife Carmia of Albemarle; grandchildren Elizabeth Poplin, Matthew Poplin (Bridget), Jennifer Stovall (Robert), Beth Diggs (Rodney), Stephanie Brown (Jody), Toni Doby (Jeff), Jamie Poplin (Jeanna), Aaron Sides, Hannah Almond, and Anthony Poplin; great-grandchildren Katelyn and Brooke Stovall, Reagan Diggs, Carlee Brown, Gracie and Christian Doby, Willow, Fayeth, Mackenzie, and Mattie Poplin.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 8 ,2015 at Poplin Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Richard Carlyle and Rev. John Lindsey.? Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at Stanly Funeral Home.
