Melinda Wilmoth McIntyre's Obituary
Melinda (Mindy) Wilmoth McIntyre passed away Tuesday October 28, 2025 after a long illness.
She was born August 24, 1977 in South Charleston, West Virginia to Jack and Sherry Phillips Wilmoth. As a child she moved to Albemarle, NC with her mother and stepfather Charles McComas, and lived there for most of her life. She graduated from Albemarle High School and later studied at Stanly Community College.
Mindy was preceded in death by her mother Sherry McComas, father Jack Wilmoth, grandmother Thelma Phillips, and step-grandparents Eugene and Mae McComas.
She is survived by her beloved children Victoria Wilmoth Mayorga (Augusto) and Jalen McIntyre, granddaughter Ellavie Mayorga, brother Ryan Wilmoth (Tammy), stepfather Charles McComas (Kim Deloatch), and niece Kirsten Wilmoth.
