Mazie Bice Holliday's Obituary
Mary Mazel (Mazie Marie) Porche Bice Holliday, 98, of Monroe passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in her home. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
Born November 29, 1924 in Terrebonne, LA, she was the daughter of the late Hayes Porche and Elosie Guidry Porche. She was a homemaker and a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed caregiving, laughting with family, traveling, dancing and taking pot shots at her son-in-law. She also loved to horseback ride with Babette.
Mrs. Holliday is survived by three children Jane Elizabeth Holliday-Monroe of Chase, MI, Babette Holliday Crofford of Monroe, and Jack Thomas Holliday of Ohio, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands David Bice and Jack Holliday, children Lynn Bice Dobransky and Brenda Bice Williamson, and six siblings Labon, Royal, Hazel, Herbert, Norman and Velma.
