Maxine Roberts Robinson's Obituary
Maxine Roberts Robinson, 96, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County. Her graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Stanly Gardens of Memory. No visitation is planned.
Mrs. Robinson was born June 9, 1926 in Montgomery County, NC to the late Eddie Wesley Roberts and Lottie McRae Roberts. She was a homemaker and a member of Anderson Grove Baptist, where she worked with the home bound committee. Maxine enjoyed working in her flowers, quilting, and was a great cook. She loved being with her family and helping others.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Preston David Robinson. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Gathings (Joey) of Albemarle, NC; four grandchildren, LeAnne Sides (Jody) of Albemarle, NC, Jody Gathings (April) of Denton, NC, Alicia Robinson (Chad West) of Albemarle, NC and Todd Robinson of Albemarle, NC and four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Luther (Brandon) of Albemarle, NC, Justin Sides of Albemarle, NC, Seth Gathings (Riley Ritchie) of Denton, NC and Gavin Gathings of Denton, NC. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Garrett Robinson on July 3, 2020.
