Me and Matt use to hang out many years ago! The funniest guy on the planet. He would say “I got a Plano tacklebox” Just a plane old tacklebox” It was the way he said it. He was a fun guy to be around. I wish I could have seen him again before he passed. REST EASY MATT MISS U BUDDY!
Matt and I became friends at Harbortown Marina. Red and my dog Ruby were best buds. I’m so sorry for your loss. My prayers to all his family including Red. I know how much they loved each other.

Matt is greatly missed and have peace knowing, he's also at peace now. Yes, Matt could tell amazing stories, most all true with some add in laughter :). His friends know how much fun Matt was to be around and will always cherish special times spent and fond memories. "Seabie" is the little bird who flew onto Matt's 18' Wellcraft boat after a FULL day of saltwater fishing and rode 2 miles into shore and then flew off. I met Matt when I started dating one of his best friends, Steve Gaddy. He was so much fun to be around. Being a pet lover too, I will remember how Matt loved to show off the tricks his dog Red could do. Never a dull moment around Matt. He always called me “young lady. “ I think it was because he could never remember my name.
