Mary Gaddy Wilhelm's Obituary
Mary Louise Gaddy Wilhelm, age 87, passed away on October 7, 2016 after a long journey through Alzheimer?s.
She was born on September 12, 1929 to the late Robert H. Gaddy and Louise Starrett Gaddy.? In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, R. Dwight Wilhelm, brother-in-law Frank Wilhelm, and a cousin David W. Gaddy.
She is survived by a sister, Frances (Ed) Butler of Decatur, GA; sister-in-law JoAnn Wilhelm of Winston-Salem, NC; nephews Ed Butler, Jr. (Jan) of Atlanta, GA; Bob Butler (Keigh) of Lilburn, GA; and James Wilhelm of Winston-Salem, NC; nieces Becky Butler Aydelette (Buddy) of Trussville, AL; Jennie (Gray) Hauser of Raleigh, NC; Cousins Jerry Lou Holbert Jones of Advance, NC and Elliott (Sally) Gaddy of Charlotte, NC.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 28 at 2 PM at Fairview Memorial Park with Pastor Harold McDonald officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to: ?Givens Health Center, 600 Barrett Lane, Asheville, NC 28803 or to Ball State University Foundation, Note: The Dwight Wilhelm Scholarship Fund, 2800 West Bethel Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304, or to the charity of the donor?s choice.
