I am so sorry to hear about this. There are no words to say, that will make this easy. I didn't know Katie, but I am sure she was a great girl, because of great parents, and Debbie, she looks just like you ! I am praying for you and your family, that you will somehow find strength to be at peace. My love goes out to you all .....
My heart hurts. I was privileged to be one of the many teachers at West to teach Katie. What a blessing. Always a smile. Always gave 100 percent. A God given blessing for all who knew her. Thank you Lord for her precious life.

Katie was a student of mine at Appalachian and I was her supervisor when she taught here. She was such a nice, sweet, intelligent caring person and a great student and teacher. All of our thoughts and prayers are with her whole family during this difficult time.

When we met Katie she was with Ben, and both Ben's grandfather and I knew there was a very special connection between these young souls. We never can understand the tragedies of our lives and we certainly don't understand this one, but we pray that all who knew and loved Katie will receive the comfort that they need at this time, especially Ben and her family.
