I knew Mary in a professional capacity. I was one of many customers she endured with her sweet attitude and welcoming smile.
If I may share a quick story, it was Christmas time a couple of years ago and my wife and wanted to show our appreciation for the extraordinary service we felt she had given us throughout the year. I purchased a gift card, (a modest amount), and left it for her with the staff. When I saw her next she was quiet and reserved when she told me her management wouldn’t allow her to keep it. I asked management for an explanation and was told it could be mistaken for some sort of breach of ethics Nonsense! Mary, being who she was, considered the gesture as strong as if she had actually received the gift and I’m happy to say we became friends with interest in each others lives and families.
We offer our sincerest condolences in a loss that has touched many, but has, I’m sure, devastated the ones closest to her.

I’m so sorry for your loss! My family and I adored her. I knew from the pharmacy and if I had the worst day she made it better. Sending lots of thoughts and prayers for her loved ones! She is truly missed and I’m blessed to have gotten to talk to her for so many years.

Mrs. Mary was such a sweet lady! I was shocked after returning from a 2 week vacation and saw a candle lit & her photo on a table near the pharmacy. She was very pleasant person and the Walmart Pharmacy in Locust I'm sure we're glad to have her! She will be missed by the community. MY GRANDSON JAXON LOVED MISS MARY. HE WOULD RUN TO THE PHARMACY TO SEE HER. IT DIDN'T MATTER IF SOMEONE WAS THERE, HE WOULD RUN UP TO HER AND START TALKING TO HER BUT BEFORE HE LEFT, HE WOULD TELL HER THAT HE LOVED HER. IT MADE HER DAY AND HIS DAY.
