Mary Carradi Ely's Obituary
Mary Carradi Ely, 67, of Midland, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held.
Mary was born on July 9, 1958, in New York to the late William and Ann Carradi. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a cherished friend to many.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack Ely; her children, Kristine Ely (Tim) and Scott Ely; her beloved grandchildren, Peyton Thomas, Aryn Thomas, and Ryan Thomas; her brother, William Carradi III; her niece, Trisha Ely and; her nephew, Robert Ely; and her brother-in-law, Robert Ely, Jr.
Mary was a strong, independent woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured time spent with those she loved, including her cherished fur babies. She enjoyed traveling, taking day trips, and spending time at the beach, where she found peace and happiness. Her strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to their extended family and friends for the love, care, and support shown to Mary throughout her declining health.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the countless memories Mary leaves behind. Her love, strength, and gentle spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
