Many blessings and prayers going up for the Poplin family. MaryAnn was a sweet soul who loved deeply and I'm humbled to have known her.
It is hard to express my heartbreak at the death of my cousin Mary Ann, and especially so soon after the passing of her beloved husband Doyle. We can all take comfort in the knowledge that they are in heaven together.
Mary Ann was a wonderful, loving, and fine Christian woman who always had a smile on her face. She, her sister Sue, and I had plans for them to come visit me in CA as soon as Mary Ann was well enough. Those plans will now have to be delayed until we can have our reunion in heaven. I cling to my memories of Doyle enjoying his pine straw mulch business and Mary Ann would be starting to make her delicious cakes as gifts during the Christmas Season. Our sad loss here on earth is the addition of two new angels in heaven. Mary Ann and Doyle, you will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved you. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the entire Poplin family.
God bless all of you. Brenda Gardner Reese
Mary Ann was one of the most people-oriented ladies you could ever hope to find. If she knew anyone who was hurting, grieving or experiencing a need of any kind, she found a way to give hope.
The unexpected treasures that were born in her kitchen frequently found their way into the homes of her friends.
She spearheaded countless social ministries at her beloved church and was always investing her talents into ways to uplift others and to glorify God.
Her heavenly rewards are surely immense.
