Martha Sue Fraley's Obituary
Martha Sue Fraley passed away at Atrium Health- Stanly on May 10 at the age of 77.
Martha is predeceased by her mother, Pauline Hardister, father, Robert Hardister, brothers, Donald and Jack Hardister, and sister, Francis Taylor.
She was survived by her brother, Robert Hardister and wife Louise Hardister of Albemarle, sister, Lucille Manner of Norwood, sister, Laura Brown of Albemarle, sister Shirley Hardister of Charlotte and sister, Linda Justice of Indian Trail.
Martha is lovingly remembered by her son, Kip Fraley and daughter-in-law, Teresa Fraley of New London, son, Scotty Fraley of New London,adopted daughter, Judy Cockrum of Greenville, granddaughter, Cori Fraley of Norwood, granddaughter, Diana Mabry and husband Dennis Mabry of Richfield, great grandchildren, Gage and Aren Mabry of Richfield and Ezra Moua of Norwood.
She was born in Albemarle, NC on September 15, 1943. She worked as a Service Desk Manager at Kmart for 21yrs.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to shag and go to square dances. For the last several years her passion was to care for the elderly in her community.
The visitation will be held at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care-Albemarle Chapel on May 14th 2021, from 12:30p.m.-1:20 pm. The family will take a short break at 1:20, and a funeral service will commence at 1:30 in the Chapel; interment to follow at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
