Marsha Hestikind Dry, 66, of Locust passed away Monday, June 10th, 2024 surrounded by her husband and beloved pets. Memorial service for Marsha will be held on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at 2 PM at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Locust. The service will be officiated by Gerald Baucom.
Marsha was born on November 18th, 1957 in Chicago to the late Odean and Martha Hestikind. Marsha dedicated her life to serving others as a registered nurse.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jack Dry of Locust, sons Anthony Zupan JR (Shannon) of La Grange, KY, Allen Zupan and (Patricia) of Indianapolis, IN, 5 grandchildren Alexandria, Allen, Augustine, Anthony and Asher, sister Cheryl Shue (Mark) of Locust, brothers James D. Hestikind of Charlotte and Robert Hestikind and (Lynn) of Castle Hayne; 6 nieces and nephews.
Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care will be serving the Dry family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tillery Compassionate Care, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001 or to the donor’s choice.
