Marlen "Bill" Richard Walker's Obituary
Mr. Marlen "Bill" Richard Walker, age 74, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System - Union.
Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at the Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Father Cory Catron. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Pageland, South Carolina.
Mr. Walker was born on August 20, 1943, in Ivydale, West Virginia, a son of the late Carl Calvin Walker and Ruby Pearl Fitzwater Walker. He was a retired machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Earnest Walker of the home; two sons, Daniel C. Walker and fiancée, Janette, of Strongsville, Ohio, Paul R. Walker and wife, Kristine, of Waxhaw; four grandchildren, Mackayla, Nathan, Madison, and Emma. He is also survived by a sister, Christine Larch and husband, Lonnie, of Streetsboro, Ohio.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 16, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
