Mark Ashley Sasser's Obituary
Mark Ashley Sasser, 54, of New London, NC, passed away on
December 3, 2019 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2PM
on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Landmark Baptist Church officiated by Pastor
Kevin Munson and Pastor Darryl Huneycutt.
Mr. Sasser was born September 21, 1965 in Stanly County to
Shelby Nanette Sides Sasser and the late Denny Alvin Sasser, Jr. He had an avid
love for the outdoors spending time hunting and fishing. Mark also enjoyed spending
time with his family.
Mark is survived by his daughters Erica Sasser Thompson
(Justin) of New London, NC, and Jacquelyn Smith Sasser of Weaverville, NC;
brother Michael Alvin Sasser (Cindy) of New London, NC; and grandchildren Elin
Thompson, Jase Thompson, Joel Matthew Thompson, and Grayson Paul; numerous nieces
and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers Matthew Sasser, Johnnie Adele
Sasser, and his sister Lisa Rena Sasser.

the Sasser family.
