Marilyn Spatafora Schwoebel's Obituary
Marilyn Spatafora Schwoebel, 79, of Mint Hill, NC, passed away on March 18, 2022 at Cadence Senior Living. The family will share a private graveside service at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Schwoebel was born on February 3, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Peter Joseph and Dolores Sivori Spatafora. She graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart. She retired from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system in 2009. Marilyn was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill, NC, and a longtime member of Pine Lake Country Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the late William Charles Schwoebel.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Matthew Charles Schwoebel and wife Lauren of Mint Hill, daughter Karyn Holt Drake and husband Reggie of Midland, two grandsons Michael Ryan Holt and wife Kelli, and William Charles Schwoebel, two great-grandsons Michael Drake Holt and Nash Alexander Holt, and two brothers Peter Joseph Spatafora Jr., and Anthony Francis Spatafora.
