Margot Lehnhardt's Obituary
Ms. Margot Girton Lehnhardt, age 72, of Lake Park, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center - Pineville.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Monroe, officiated by Reverend Billy Belk.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Ms. Lehnhardt was born on February 11, 1941, in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, a daughter of the late William Wallace Girton and Jean Fraser Girton. She retired from Radiator Specialty Company as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant. After retirement, she was a tutor for the Union County Literacy Council and also worked for Disability Rights and Resources.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Girton.
Survivors include two sons, Donny Lehnhardt and wife, Lori, of Rock Hill, Karl Lehnhardt and wife, Dana, of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Joey Lehnhardt, Drew Lehnhardt, Tommy Lehnhardt and wife, Morgan, Jamye Houser and husband, Kenny, Matthew Stout and wife, Erin, Brandon Wallace, and Christopher Wallace. She is also survived by one sister, Suzie Terrell and husband, Mike, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and her sister-in-law, Anita McKinney of Oklahoma.
