Margie Eudy's Obituary
Mrs. Margie Buchanan Eudy, age 90, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at the McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, North Carolina.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday, May 23, 2016, at Love Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Don Thompson.
Interment will follow at Wingate City Cemetery.
Mrs. Eudy was born on April 20, 1926, in Unicoi County, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Joseph Buchanan and Becky Randolph Buchanan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade A. Eudy, Sr. on March 1, 1995, and a great-grandson, Tony Riggins.
Survivors include a son, W. Allen Eudy, Jr. and wife Brenda of Monroe; a daughter, Becky Eudy Helms and husband Rick of Wingate; four grandchildren, Angie H. Blackmon and husband Don of Lancaster, SC, David Eudy of Wingate, Dennis Eudy and wife Brooke of Monroe and Jenny Horne and husband David of Monroe; seven great grandchildren, Josh Eudy and fiancée Liz Coley of Peachland, B.J. Riggins, Dalton Riggins, and Dakota Riggins all of Lancaster, SC, Ashlyn Eudy of Indian Trail, Colin Horne and Carsyn Horne both of Monroe.
There are two step grandchildren, Erica Helms of Brantford, Ontario and Deana Rivers and husband Scott of Polkton, NC; and four step great-grandchildren, Zac Helms of Brantford, Ontario , Trevor Rivers of Polkton, NC, Zoe Fletcher and Addie Fletcher both of Monroe.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday Night, May 22, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
