Margaret Tyson Tyndall's Obituary
Margaret Ann Tyson Tyndall, 84, of Stanfield, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May 30, 2025.
Born October 25, 1940, in Edwardsville, Kansas, Margaret was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Christina Lobentein Tyson and Edmund Clarence Tyson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Earl Tyndall, and his sons, Curtis Wayne Tyndall and Kevin Earl Tyndall.
Margaret was a woman of strength, compassion, and remarkable determination. She enjoyed a long and successful career with Harris Teeter, serving in the corporate office as a project manager for 21 years. Never one to shy away from a challenge, she later became a licensed residential building contractor in Stanfield, where she worked for another decade.
Her family remembers her as fiercely resilient, selfless, and unwavering in her love for those around her-including her cherished pets, Coco and Polly, who brought her great joy.
Margaret is survived by her children, Debra Hinson (Stan) of Stanfield, Craig Pickering of Mint Hill, and Amy Clark (Kip) of Stanfield; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, June 3, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust. A graveside celebration of Margaret's life will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215.
