Margaret “Sue” Easley Barbee, 82, of Midland passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 in Caremoor Assisted Living in Kannapolis. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Pine Bluff United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bradley N. Williams presiding.
Born August 9, 1940, in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Easley and Emma Turner Easley. She was a retired money transfer clerk.
Mrs. Barbee was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Barbee in January of 2021. Survivors include son Jimmy Barbee (Donna) of Concord, a daughter Sharon Williams of Kannapolis, five grandchildren Bradley Williams, Kimberly Williams Heiman, Celeste Honea, Amanda Rivas and Kandace Lee and nine great-grandchildren Kaylee Williams, Emma Williams, McKenzie Heiman, Ava Heiman, Grayson Honea, Emma Honea, Leleigh Honea, Mckenzie Lee, and Michael Lee Jr. One additional great-grandson is on the way (Amanda Rivas).
