THANKS Tina - The Dalmatian days are so special. Those Beagles grew on me though. Thanks and only the best!
Maggie, you will be greatly missed by the dog community; your contribution will live on and that's as it should be. Your contribution in legislative reports from the NC Dog Federation were always concise keeping the dog community informed of upcoming matters of interest to dog owners, breeders and dog clubs. You left a great legacy and we will miss you.
Praying for comfort for the family and all who will miss this special soul. Maggie was a wonderful addition to our staff at the bookstore in the mall, and her unique humor through the work makes for fond memories. Can't think of her without smiling... Rest in peace indeed.
Oh Peter....what a completely wonderful picture of your mother you have written....I can so see her in your writing....it was a beautiful tribute to her, and your dad....and we who knew them both have lost comrades for our dogs and dog passion whose places cannot be filled. That Maggie spirit is so evident in her saying hey....miss me when I'm gone but not while I'm still around!! So love that....and even through my tears I can see your mother also in those words you so graciously shared with us of hers....."she no longer comes when called." Your parents were incredibly kind and compassionate people....I cannot think of Kim without seeing his big wide grin....and I cannot think of Maggie without seeing her roll her eyes at him and wink at whoever was watching....their love was always on display....for each other....for the dogs....and of course for you...and they did not mind it one bit! I just cannot imagine dog shows without walking to the Dal ring and finding one or both of them there in welcome. How blessed we have been to know their kind....and how deeply we now share in sympathies with you and all your family at their passing. Â
In loving memory of Maggie and Kim....so grateful to have shared the love of Dalmatians and dogs with them....so blessed to have seen their love in action...for each other...for family...for friends...for all creatures great and small. Â
