Madie Liverman Miller's Obituary
Madie Neal Liverman Miller, 88, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Stanly Manor. Her funeral service will be 1pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor James Laurence officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12pm until 12:45pm at the church.
Mrs. Miller was born December 30, 1932 in High Point, NC. She spent her childhood in Salisbury, NC with her late parents, Rufus Cecil Liverman and Sara Wise Liverman. She was an only child but had a great childhood with many cousins nearby. Madie graduated High School in 1951 from Mt. Ulla and attended Salisbury Business College. She formerly worked at North Albemarle School as a secretary and had a long career at Cabarrus Bank. She worked handling accounts payable for her son's company, Miller Industrial Supply for 32 years. She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother. Madie loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Albemarle.
Madie is survived by her husband, Harry Lee Miller of the home, they were married in 1953 and enjoyed 67 years of a wonderful married life. They were blessed with two sons, Harry David Miller (Samantha) and Tim Miller (Lisa); two granddaughters, Rachel Miller Hawthorne (Will) and Sara Miller Holland (Mickey) and a great grandchild, Bryce Holland.
