Madeline Morgan Haigler's Obituary
Madeline Frances Morgan Haigler, 78, of Midland passed away June
21, 2019 in Atrium Health Northeast. A
memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at
2 PM at United Love Baptist Church in Midland with Pastor Marvin Tyson officiating. There will be no graveside service. The family will receive friends from 12 until
1:45 at the church prior to the service.
Born November 10, 1940 in Concord, she was the daughter of
the late Alfred Odell Morgan and Mildred Wallace Morgan. She was a graduate of the Bethel High School
Class of 1959 and a member of United Love Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Cabarrus County
Home Extension.
Mrs. Haigler is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leroy
Haigler of the home, daughters Lisa Haigler Smith (Johnny) of Concord and Lori
Haigler Little (Kevin) of Midland, brother Alfred Odell Morgan II (Judy) of
Midland and sisters Alice Morgan Russell of Winston Salem, Betty Morgan of Midland,
Ann Morgan Bailey of Harrisburg, and Kay Morgan Jones (Doug) of Albemarle, 5
grandchildren Nina Smith Collins (Tracy), Megan Smith Peterson (Shaun), Kaleb Glen
Little, Abigail Nicole Little, and Layla Jade Little, 4 great-grandchildren
Ryan Smith Collins, Ava Grace Peterson, Ella Kate Collins and Ally James
Peterson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Joel Marshall Morgan and a sister
Dorothy Elizabeth Morgan.
