Madeline Corns' Obituary
Mrs. Madeline Cassidy Corns, age 76, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump.
Interment will follow in the Waxhaw City Cemetery, Arbor Drive.
Mrs. Corns was born on January 26, 1941, in Patrick County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Kelsey Cassidy and Ida Rodgers Cassidy.
She was a sewer at the Pannills Knit Company in Martinsville, Virginia with 35 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her son, Randy Corns of Waxhaw, NC; a daughter, Rhonda M. Corns and Kay of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters, Louise Martin of Stuart, VA and Ann Corns of Martinsville, VA; two granddaughters, Sarah Fisher of Waxhaw, NC and Savannah Fisher of Waxhaw, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday night May 3, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe.
