Louvine Morton Bowers' Obituary
Louvine Morton Bowers, 89, of Albemarle, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A graveside service celebrating her life will be held at Stanly Gardens of Memory on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10am, officiated by Pastor Jimmie Hudson.
Born on December 1, 1935, in Stanly County, NC, Louvine was the daughter of the late Raymond Alexander Morton and Vernie Mauldin Morton. She dedicated her professional life to her passion as a beautician, retiring after many years of service.
Louvine was fondly remembered by her family for her creativity, toughness, and unwavering work ethic. She had a deep love for gardening, painting, and crafting of all kinds. Beyond her artistry, she selflessly served as a devoted caregiver to her husband, son, and parents, demonstrating her compassion and strength throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Harold Bowers, in 2002, and her son, Jeffrey Harold Bowers, in 1989. Louvine is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bowers Casey of Albemarle; brother, Glenn Morton of Albemarle; and two cherished granddaughters, Jessica Casey of Kannapolis and Taylor Casey of Concord.
Her legacy of love, resilience, and creativity will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
