Louise Moore's Obituary
Mrs. Louise Belk Moore, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at CMC-Union.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Louise Moore will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday, February 27, 2015, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, officiated by Reverend Bob Childs. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Belk was born on May 6, 1921, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late A.L. "Fate" Belk and Mary Belle Keziah Belk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Moore. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Belk and Kenneth Belk.
She was a retired school teacher for Union County Public Schools with 31 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include two nieces, Kathy O'Brien and husband Danny O'Brien of Lancaster, SC and Deena Totherow and husband Glenn Totherow of Lancaster, SC; two cousins, Mary Sue Belk Mills of Monroe and Nadine Benton of Monroe; and numerous friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM Friday, February 27, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home, prior to the funeral ceremony.
