Louise Almond Hardister's Obituary
Louise Hardister, 94 of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Trinity Place. Her funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Prospect Baptist Church with Pastor Stoney Benfield and Rev. Dr. Darrell Huneycutt. A burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 1:45pm at the church prior to the service.
Ms. Hardister was born July 18, 1929, in Stanly County, NC to the late Grover and Lessie Amond. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was a great mother and aunt to her family. She loved gardening and loved being outside. She will truly be missed by all that know her.
Ms. Hardister is survived by a son, Ronnie Hardister of Albemarle; favorite sister-in-law, Pat Almond of New London, NC, Nephews; Darnell Almond (Stefanie) and Jeremy Almond (Bonnie); great nieces, Sarah Almond, Brook Welker (Seth), Jaicee Tucker (Brevan) and one great nephew; Jerry Wayne Almond. She is preceded in death by a husband Robert Edger Hardister and a son, Robert Edward Hardister.
