Lottie Cooper Brewer, 92, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in her home.? Her funeral service will be 11 AM Friday, March 25, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ross Tracy officiating. Burial will follow in Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 9:30 until 10:30 prior to the hour of the service.
Born January 12, 1924 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Marion Cooper and Mary Luna Huneycutt Cooper.? She was a retired secretary with the NC Dept. of Transportation with 21 years of service.? She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul William Brewer in 1997.? Survivors include stepson Roger Paul Brewer of Albemarle, sisters Nell Lisenby of Norwood, Florence Ashe of Norwood, and Jean Smith of Norwood.? 3 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death; Roy Cooper, Campbell Cooper, Henry Cooper, Flonnie Traywick, Georgia Smith, and Ann Mauldin.
