Lorrie Ann Brooks' Obituary
Mrs. Lorrie Ann Outen Brooks, age 50, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center - Union in Monroe.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Mark Saunders.
Mrs. Brooks was born on May 28, 1966, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, a daughter of David Neil Outen of Winston Salem and Patricia Ann Mullis. She was a candlemaker at the Candle Factory in Marshville.
Survivors include her husband, Coy Henry Brooks of the home; one son, Travis Brooks of Monroe; one daughter, Natalie Sims of Monroe; three grandsons, Bentley Sims, Dillon Warner, and Laydon Brooks, all of Monroe; two granddaughters, Aaliyah Sims and Nevaeh Brooks, both of Monroe; her mother, Patricia Mullis (the late Bud Mullis) of Monroe; her father, David Neil Outen of Monroe; her sister, Lisa Ross of Monroe; her nephew, Andrew Mullis of Monroe; and her niece, Alexis Mullis of Monroe, her half-sister, Erica Wise of Winston Salem; and her nephew Ryan Weavil and niece Kaitlin Weavil both of Winston Salem.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
