Lonnie Ray Morton, 83 of Albemarle, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 30, 2019 at his home after a lengthy battle with Parkinson disease. Born in Albemarle on June 21, 1936, he was the son of Willia Read Obituary
I remember Lonnie from my many years at Grace Baptist. Such a wonderful family and man of great honor. Even though I moved out of the area, I still remember the family fondly and the Sunday school lessons that I repeat to my children. Prayers for you all!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Patty and family. Lonnie was a good friend and will be missed. So sorry we were not here.

I have know Lonnie for many years. I will remember him most for being a faithful Christian. So sorry for your loss Patty.
