Mr. Lonnie Belk Helms, Sr., age 74, of Monroe, NC, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at CMC-Union.
Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be announced by Davis Funeral Home
Mr. Helms was born on November 18, 1941, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a son of the late John Belk Helms and the late Sara Elizabeth Purvis.
Survivors include his two sons Lonnie Belk Helms, Jr. of Key West, FL and Gary Lee Helms of Asheville, NC; his daughter Mona Lisa Helms of Key West, FL; his grandson Shane Paul Kaveney of Destin, FL; and his brother Jake Helms of Silver Springs, FL.
