Linda Cranford Smith's Obituary
Linda Sue Cranford Smith, 78, of Oakboro passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem. No formal services are planned.
Born October 4, 1942 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Theodore Cranford and Neppie Thompson Cranford. She retired from Stanly Regional Medical Center as a CSR Supervisor. She was of the Christian Faith and attended Porter Methodist for many years before moving to Oakboro.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband William Frank Smith in 2018. She is survived by three sons Chris Smith of Oakboro, Todd Smith and wife Amanda of Albemarle, Eric Smith of Oakboro, brother Tommy Cranford of Sumter, SC and sister Hilda Watts of Georgia, three grandchildren.
