Linda Almond Page's Obituary
Linda Page, 79, of Locust, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in her home. Her funeral service will be 3pm Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Midland with Rev. Keith Austin officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 2:45pm prior to the service.
She was born June 17, 1942, in Albemarle, NC, to the late Girley Lee Almond and Verna Mae Almond Kendall. Linda graduated from Ridgecrest High School in 1960. She formerly worked at Allisons Manufacturing Company for thirty five years and worked at the Locust Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed working in her yard, walking with her favorite neighbors, spending time with her family at the ball field and taking care of her little dog Eddie.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years, Zelin (Zeke) Page. She is survived by her children, Crystal Huneycutt of Locust, NC and Dexter Page (Sandy) of Locust, NC; four grandchildren Leslie Furr (Jason), Megan Huneycutt, Taylor Huneycutt and Colby Page; three great-grandchildren, Creed Austin, Afton and Layton Furr; a sister, Doris Efird (Keith) of Locust, NC and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Morris.
