Linda L Johnson's Obituary
Linda L. Johnson, 76, of Albemarle, NC passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 in Atrium Health-Stanly with her children by her side. Her graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stoney Benfield officiating. No visitation will be held.
She was born March 15, 1945 in Guilford County, NC, to the late Charles Curtis Lunsford and Mary Lou West Lunsford. Linda was a retired employee of American Fiber and Finishing and was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was a loving caretaker and mother to all.
Linda is survived by a son, Kevin Johnson (Leigh Ann) of New London, NC; a daughter, Angie Johnson of Albemarle, NC; two brothers, Charlie Lunsford (Martha) of Albemarle, NC and Roger Lunsford (Diane) of Norwood, NC; two sisters, Janie Beck of Clyde, NC and Judy Thomas (Paul) of Almond, NC; three grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Luke Johnson and Joelie Johnson and numerous special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Carolyn and Garry Harvell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: St. Judes, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Johnson family.
