Linda Caudle Hudson's Obituary
Linda Caudle Hudson, 80, of New London passed away on May 6, 2023 at her home. Her funeral service will be 11 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 6 until 8 PM.
Born December 13, 1942 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Henry Franklin Caudle and Judie Pickler Caudle. She was a member of Palmerville Baptist Church and a retired employee of E. J. Snyder and Co. She loved needlepoint and crocheting, and she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her husband, James Reece Hudson. Survivors include daughter Annette McKessor and husband Robert of New London, step-son Daniel R. Hudson and wife Beverly of Salisbury, sister Diane Hatley and husband James of Albemarle and brother Johnny Caudle Sr. and wife Marla, 5 grandchildren Nicholas Morton and Alex Morton, Maleah Gainey, Patrick Burrage, and Bobby McKessor, 2 step-grandchildren Hope Hudson, Cody Hudson and 4 great-grandchildren Lilly, Mason, Bradley, and Jackson. A brother Henry Franklin Caudle Jr. preceded her in death.
