Lillie Whitley Hinson's Obituary
Lillie Whitley Hinson, 98, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Her funeral will be Friday, November 6 at 3 PM at Randalls United Methodist Church with Rev. David McCauley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 at the church prior to the service. The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Born August 20, 1917 in Stanly County, Lillie was the daughter of the late Kelsey Ervin Whitley and Ossie Lea Cline Whitley. She was a lifelong member of Randall?s United Methodist Church.
Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lynn Hinson and two grandsons, Michael Lyn Nash and Robert Thomas Whisnant.
She is survived by three daughters; Linda Waddell (Jerry) of Albemarle, NC, Ann Whisnant (S.W. Whisnant IV) of Leland, NC, and Judy Hamilton (Tony) of Albemarle, NC, and one brother, Pete Whitley of Albemarle, NC. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
