Libby McLeod Roche, 77, of Norwood passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Carolina?s Continued Care Hospital of Pineville. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 25 at 2 PM in Fairview Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Born August 17, 1938 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late William James ?Boge? McLeod and Edna Ora Lee McLeod. Libby was a graduate of Albemarle High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Roche loved to watch TV, sit on the porch watching the lake, and her dog, Pepper. She was a great woman who always had a wonderful sense of humor.
Libby was married to the living Reginald (Reggie) Roche of the home. She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Rivers Luther (Byron) of Norwood, and one granddaughter, Tiffany Luther (fianc? Jimmy Cromer) of Norwood.? She is preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Faye Williams, Louise Geneva, and Jean Hatley.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Stanly & the Uwharrie at 960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001.
