What a joy to know the Roberts family. Growing up in the Pfeiffer community (we were those people beyond the water tower) was a wonderful experience for kids. We were all so fortunate to have Les and Joyce Roberts as two of our community parents. Les was always ready with a smile and Joyce never failed to share a joke. Such fun and endearing people. Ryan and Terri, my most sincere condolences in your Dad's passing. He was one of a kind!
One of my fondest memories is of Snake. You never saw him without a smile on his face. Welcomed all on their return to campus , whether from a night out or two week break . Just such a wonderful, delightful memory of my 4 years at Pfeiffer 💕
Saddened to learn that we've lost another great and respected Pfeiffer (P)fixture. Snake always looked after us and had all of our interests at heart.

What a loss...Les was such a great guy and we always knew we would get a smile and have some fun when we would see him while visiting my family at Old North State. He was so fun to be on the tennis court with, too. We will sure miss seeing him and knowing he's around. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
Les "Snake" was a great man and my family loved him and Joyce!!!!! My dad, Jimmy Rogers and mom Bettie went way back... Our families went camping together at the beach and had so much fun!!!!! That was back in the late 1960's .. Our love and prayers go out to Ryan and Terri and their families... Les was a true friend !!!

I believe Les was the nicest person I have ever known in my life. He made such a positive impact upon anyone and everyone he met. Always happy to be alive, to offer assistance in every imaginable way and ever ready to boost the spirts of anyone who needed a kind word. What a treasured friend. What a blessing to us all!

I was fortunate to know Les "Snake" Roberts. He was a unique person with a great zest for life. Many tennis matches at night, motorcycle trips to Myrtle Beach. Great memories of a great man!
