Lawrence Francis McGeehan's Obituary
Mr. Lawrence Francis McGeehan, Sr., age 95, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Royal Park Nursing Center.
Graveside Services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2017, at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Boulevard, Salisbury, NC 28144.
Mr. McGeehan was born on July 11, 1921, in South Portland, Maine, a son of the late Patrick McGeehan and the late Margaret Foley. He was a retired carpenter and was veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include his daughter Judith Ann Jacobsen of Waxhaw, NC; his son Lawrence Francis McGeehan, Jr.; his six grandchildren Karen Barbere, Michael Jacobsen, Jennifer Praskieriez, Ryan McGeehan, Jeremiah McGeehan, John McGeehan; and his five great grandchildren Ashley Praskieviez, Kayla Praskieviez, River McGeehan, Ryder McGeehan, and Mia Barbere..
