Mrs. Lawanda Laney Courtney, age 36, of Pageland, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at her residence.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Lawanda Laney Courtney will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, officiated by Reverend Mark Evans.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 6:50 PM Friday, prior to the funeral ceremony at Davis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Courtney was born on January 21, 1978, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Jimmy Wayne Laney and Linda Kay Nivens Laney.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Courtney of Pageland, SC; two daughters, Megan Danielle Laney and Laura Christine Courtney; four sons, Trevor James Courtney, Devin Wayne Courtney, Thomas Charles Courtney and James Adam Courtney, Jr. all of Pageland, SC; her parents, Jimmy Wayne Laney and Linda Nivens Laney of Pageland, SC; one brother, Jimmy Wayne Laney, Jr. of Pageland, SC; two sisters, Misty Dawn Laney (Chris) of Pageland, SC and Nickie Nicole Warner (David) of Indian Trail, NC; maternal grandmother, Bleeker Elizabeth Thomas of Indian Trail, NC.
There are numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
