Larry Gene Hinson's Obituary
Larry Gene Hinson, 69, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at his home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1PM on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Stanly Gardens of Memory officiated by Rev. Delane Burris. His body will lie in state at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle from 9 AM until noon on Monday prior to the service. The family will greet friends at the cemetery, following the graveside service.
Mr. Hinson was born February 28, 1952 in Stanly County to the late Herman Theo Hinson and Victoria Mae Howell Hinson. He was retired and previously worked at New Finish.
Larry is survived by his daughter: Alyssa Rose Hinson of Albemarle; granddaughter: Tori Hinson; sister: Linda Deese (Wilbert) of Albemarle; nephews; Will Deese (Caroline) of Norwood, Wesley Deese of Albemarle; and many cousins. He is also survived by his faithful companion Trixie. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharron Gail Townsend Hinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 644 Edgemont Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
