Larry Wayne Gaddy's Obituary
Larry Wayne Gaddy, 73, of Monroe, NC passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle. A Memorial Service will be held
Saturday, February 3, at 2 PM at Stanly Funeral Home of Albemarle, with Pastor Jason Almond
officiating.
Born June 2, 1950 in Shawnee, OK, Larry was the son of Bob Lee Gaddy and Judy Mays
Gaddy. He was a graduate of La Sierra High School in Carmichael, CA. Larry was a passionate
man of faith with a strong work ethic, which he passed on to his children. Larry enjoyed
landscaping, movies, and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband and father. Larry was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Deborah Gaddy, son Robert Gaddy, daughter Melissa Parsons
(Jeff), daughter Rachel Nix (William), son Tim Gaddy (Amanda), and grandsons Benjamin,
Logan, Samuel, Christian, Connor, Jacob, and Henry. He is also survived by his step-father
Paul Matson (Joy), brother Randy Gaddy (Dana), brother-in-law David Wade, sister-in-law
Denise Douglas (Jeff), and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by mother Judy, father Bob, and sister Connie.
Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Gaddy family.

Purse or Tunnel to Towers Foundation
