Larry Wayne Furr, Sr. 72, of Oakboro passed away on Monday, November 9,2020 at Atrium Health Stanly. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Midland. A funeral service for Mr. F Read Obituary

I did not know Larry Furr. Personally .but know he was a good man good father and christian and he was good to my brothet Tim Kerley and his daughter Kelly as well as his family. He was a man Loved by many and will be missed ..

We had a lot of fun growing up and around each other! A great Cousin. I will surely miss Larry. Rest easy cousin!
Larry was a Special friend and a big brother to me, He always had something good to say to me. He would text me about every day and say I hope you and your family are doing well today and have a good day brother. Some days I would text him first and he would always text me back.
We talked about every day I am going to miss him so much!!!
He will always have a special place in my heart.

Mr Furr was a special man although I did not know him personally we are blessed to have his daughter Hope as our DIL our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time
I had the distinct pleasure to be Larry's friend and physician for 40 years. He was a fine man and a loyal American. I will miss him. DrJ
