Kurt W. Masurat, 82, of Waxhaw, NC passed away Monday, December 31, 2019. Kurt was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Wilmington, DE. Kurt graduated from P.S. DuPont High School in Wilmington, and attended Massanuten Military A Read Obituary
I met kurt just before he graduated from high school. We lived in close proximity for many years .We had so many things in common and because of that ,Kurt and I spent many hours together, enjoying the activities we both loved. That included a lot of time in Kurt's cabin on Denton Hill in Potter Co. Pa. He was truly, a true friend, Tears are running down my face as I write this. I'll miss you, buddy Â
Kurt and I worked together at Goulston for 20 years, developing and servicing products for the fiber and textile industry. He was a major contributor to the growth of our company and was well liked and respected by both his peers at Goulston and by the many customers he worked with. I have many fond memories of traveling with Kurt and still remember, with envy, his ability to take short "power" naps at will.Beth and the girls, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time

I have many fond memories of working with Kurt at Goulston. One that stands out is when he graciously hosted a tour for several of us to the textile show in Greenville. Beth and girls, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. It was so apparent how much he loved you all and was so proud of you.
