Kristie Kirk (Flagg)'s Obituary
Kristie Lee Kirk (Flagg), aged 50, died peacefully on July 27, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare Northeast Hospital in Concord, North Carolina after a short battle with lung cancer.? She was surrounded by family members, including her parents and her children, who loved her dearly.
Kristie was born March 15, 1966 in North Carolina, the daughter of Nancy and Nelson Kirk.? In 1976, Kristie and her family moved to Indiana where she later graduated from Carmel High School.? She worked as an LPN for twenty-five years and through that time she touched the lives of her patients and their family members, bringing comfort and happiness to their daily lives.? Aside from being an admired nurse, she loved being an incredible mother to her four children.
Kristie was preceded in death by her brother Nelson Russel Kirk, in 2008.? She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Nelson Kirk; her children Logan Flagg, Victoria Flagg, Hannah Flagg (Sherfick), and Sylvia Flagg; and her grandson, Forrest Tiegan Russel Sherfick.
A memorial service will be held in Indianapolis at a later date.
