Kevin Ray Remines' Obituary
Kevin Ray Remines, 55, of Monroe, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the Union County Hospice House.
Born on October 21, 1969, in Bethesda, Maryland, Kevin was the beloved son of the late Frank Ray Remines and Mary Elizabeth Ann Shepherd Remines. He was a dedicated employee of ConMet in Monroe and was known by those around him as a kind, genuine, and caring person.
Kevin had a big heart and an easy smile. He cherished his time with family and friends, and his warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His fiancée, Tracy, lovingly described him as her world. Kevin had a passion for sports—he was an avid football and golf fan and a lifelong supporter of the Dallas Cowboys. His backyard was often the center of laughter and friendly competition, where people gathered for horseshoe games and good company.
Kevin’s love for his nieces and nephews ran deep. Even during his illness, the medical staff frequently remarked on his kindness, politeness, and the grace with which he carried himself.
He is survived by his devoted fiancée, Tracy Hasty of Monroe; his sister, Crystal Reid of Lakeland, Florida; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
Kevin will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the joy he brought to others, and the kindness that defined his life.
