Kenneth "Kenny" Allan Sedberry's Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Allan Sedberry, age 59, of Richfield passed at Atrium Health Stanly surrounded by his loved ones on February 20, 2024. His Celebration of Life will be Saturday March 2, 2024 at 2PM at Holly Mt. Baptist Church in Candor, NC. The family will receive friends from 1PM to 1:45PM at the Church.
Kenny was born September 22, 1964 in Troy to the late Everette Martin Sedberry and Elna Deane Sedberry. He was a veteran of the Navy and a cancer survivor. He worked in construction until he was disabled in 2012. His favorite place to be was in his recliner, sitting with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting in Montgomery county, being in the mountains of Tennessee, driving his boat, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Amy Pickler Sedberry. Daughters: Ashley Sedberry Whitley (Chase) of Richfield, NC , Brianna Christine Sedberry of Richfield, NC, Hannah Sedberry Cosgriff (Niko) of Richfield, NC , and Kayley Marie Shaver of Salisbury, NC. A brother: Calvin Sedberry of Candor, NC and sisters: Cheryl Thompson of Troy, NC and Dana Baldwin of Rockingham, NC. And his 5 grandchildren Kelih Collins, Paisley Cosgriff, Peyton Cosgriff, Bella Whitley, and Braxton Whitley, who he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Everette Martin Sedberry and Elna Deane Sedberry. And brother: Everette “Butch” Martin Sedberry.
